The season of Revelations

Wood eLf Multiplayer Campaign

This campaign focuses on war between the Wood Elves over control of Athel Loren. The teams in the game will include both Wood Elf factions, who will be responsible for coordinating transport between and attacks on Magical Forests, and other Allies who will not have access to these useful features and should be chosen based on their own unique contributions or their ability to help capture and hold Athel Loren. The ultimate goal of the game is to perform the Ritual of Rebirth in Athel Loren, but the other Magical Forests of the world cannot be ignored because victory can also be achieved by controlling a majority of the other Forests, and controlling these other Forests also boosts the Health of Athel Loren.

Campaign Setup
- Players will be randomly divided into 2 teams if 7-8 players, or 3 teams if 5-6 players

- For 6+ players, Each team will first chose either Talsyn or Argwylon with order of selection determined by Warpstone bidding (auction style) or assigned randomly if no Warpstone is spent (If 5-6 players, Wargrove of Woe is the leader of the 3rd team and Heralds of Ariel are not used). Then each team will choose either Wargrove of Woe or the Heralds of Twilight in the same way. For 4-5 players, each team will choose either Wargrove of Woe or the Heralds of Twilight. Note that the Heralds of Twilight begin with control of the Oak of Ages, while the Wargrove of Woe starts closer to Athel Loren.

- In whatever order the first Wood Elf factions were assigned, the respective teams may then choose any faction in the game for one of their Allies (choosing a faction near Athel Loren/Oak of Ages is advised). Any Ally selection may be vetoed for the cost of 2 Warpstone, but a re-pick due to a veto may not be vetoed. Any faction vetoed is also banned for any future selection by any team. Veto decisions are made in reverse order as selection (the team selecting last must decide if they want to veto first). Some Ally choices will also cost warpstone from the player that chooses to play them (or can be donated by another player on the team).

Free Allies - Bretonnia, Dark Elves, High Elves, The Empire, Lizardmen
1 Warpstone - Dwarfs, Grand Cathay, Kislev, Ogre Kingdoms, Orcs & Goblins
2 Warpstone - Beastmen, Chaos Dwarfs, Daemons, Norsca, Skaven, Tomb Kings, Vampire Coast, Vampire Counts, Warriors of Chaos

Campaign Scoring
- Only Wood Elf factions may choose occupy the Oak of Ages, though any faction may raze or sack it.

- The game ends if the Ritual of Rebirth is completed in Athel Loren (Oak of Ages) or any team completes 5 Rituals in other magical forests.

- The winning team will earn 8 Warpstone divided among its members. The losing team will earn 1 Warpstone per ritual completed divided among its members with any remainder than cannot be equally divided lost.
